Listed as extracurriculars, but the school does not say which ones meet after dismissal. Do not count on these for care.
The school’s page says the program “remains free for Nebinger students” and runs September 2 to June 12, without naming the year. Confirm the free spots still apply for 2026–27. The city’s list of free funded programs includes Zhang Sah’s Mt. Airy site but not Bainbridge Street.
The city’s finder has not posted a 2026–27 listing yet; the newest one ran September 8, 2025 to June 12, 2026. Call to confirm the program and the price for this year. The finder also lists Girl Scouts, soccer and baseball clinics, a garden club and crafts here. An earlier Shot Tower listing says “Pick up from Nebinger Elementary school.” Confirm pickup is still offered this year.

Before you enroll
Pickup lists change every year, and most providers need a minimum number of children from a school. Ask each one to confirm Nebinger pickup for the days you need.
Ask what happens on early-dismissal days and district days off.
City rec centers post each year’s after-school listing late, so call before counting on a price or a spot. Their listings live in the Parks & Rec finder.
Options thin out after 5th grade. For grades 6–8 the pickup choices are Zhang Sah, Queen & Rook and Butcher’s Sew Shop (Fridays), plus Philly Art Center and Shot Tower through 6th. Fleisher and Mighty Writers are both within a few blocks for children old enough to walk.
The city’s free, city-funded after-school programs do not include one at Nebinger. The nearest are school-based programs at Vare-Washington for its own students.
