What this site is

Philly After School is a free directory. It gathers what after-school programs, weekend classes and camps in Philadelphia say about themselves on their own websites, and arranges it by school and neighborhood.
Philly After School is run by Schools Out Now What LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company. “We” and “us” in these terms mean Schools Out Now What LLC.
We don’t run any of the programs listed, and we aren’t a child care provider, a school, a booking service or an agent for any program.
A listing is not a recommendation. We don’t inspect programs, check licences or insurance, run background checks on staff, or verify that a program is safe or right for your child.
Hours, prices, dates, pickup routes and openings change, and what’s here can be out of date or wrong. Confirm everything with the program before you enroll, pay or rely on a pickup.
Choosing a program, and arranging how your child gets there and home, is your decision and your responsibility.

The site is for adults: parents, guardians, caregivers and the people who run programs. Accounts are for people 18 and over. Children should not make an account or send us anything.
If you make an account, use your own email address and your real name, and keep access to that email to yourself. You are responsible for what’s done from your account.

Looking things up works without telling us anything about a child. A plan you make while signed in is kept in your profile, and you can share a week: you decide what first name to use, and you can use a nickname or an initial.
Only add a child you are the parent or guardian of, or have that person’s permission to add.

When you share a week or start a group, you choose who sees it. We send the invitation to the email address you give and check that the person signs in with that address. We don’t know who they are beyond that, and we don’t screen anyone.
Only invite people you know and would tell where your child is anyway. Anyone you invite can print or screenshot what they see.
What happens between you and other people you meet or connect with through the site is between you and them. That includes carpools, shared pickups, playdates, babysitting and money. We are not a party to those arrangements and are not responsible for them.
You can stop sharing, leave a group or delete your account at any time.

A review should be your own first-hand experience, honest, and about the program rather than a named person. Don’t include children’s names or anyone’s private details.
We read reviews before they are posted, and we may shorten one, decline it or take it down. A review is the opinion of the person who wrote it, not ours.
By sending a review, suggestion or correction you let us publish it on the site and use it to improve the listings. You keep the rights to what you wrote.

Listings are free. We build them from your public website, and you can ask us to correct or remove one at any time.
Claim a listing only if you work for that program and are allowed to speak for it. What you send us about it must be accurate and yours to share.
Changes you propose are read before they go on the site. We may edit them to fit the page, decline them, or remove a claim.
A listing doesn’t make us your partner, agent or advertiser, and we don’t promise it will bring enrollments.

Don’t use the site to harass anyone, to pretend to be someone else, or to collect information about children or families.
Don’t copy the listings in bulk to republish or sell them, and don’t try to break, overload or get around the site’s protections.
We can suspend an account or remove content that breaks these rules.

The site links to programs’ own websites and sign-up pages. Those are theirs: their terms, prices and privacy practices apply there, and anything you buy or sign is between you and them.
Program names and logos belong to their owners. The rest of the site, including how the listings are written and arranged, is ours. You’re welcome to link to any page and to share the cards and calendars you make.

The site is provided as it is, free of charge, without any promise that it is complete, accurate, available or free of errors.
As far as the law allows, Schools Out Now What LLC is not liable for loss or harm that comes from using the site, from relying on a listing, from a program you chose, or from your dealings with other people who use the site.
Nothing here limits any right you have that the law doesn’t allow to be limited.

We may change the site or these terms. When the terms change in a way that matters, the date below changes with them. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania.
