Before you enroll

  • Pickup lists change every year, and most providers need a minimum number of children from a school. Ask each one to confirm Southwark pickup for the days you need.
  • Ask what happens on early-dismissal days and district days off.
  • City rec centers post each year’s after-school listing late, so call before counting on a price or a spot. Their listings live in the Parks & Rec finder.
  • Free, city-funded programs are in the city’s After School and Summer Program Locator.
  • Southwark has free before and after school care in the building. The school names Sunrise of Philadelphia as its partner, and it is one of the City’s Extended Day, Extended Year schools.
